The Villa Comunale hosts the summer edition of the festival with Marina D'Alessio and Gabriella Genisi. Two events, both at 8:00 pm, will feature storytelling, dialogue, engagement, and literature.

CAPURSO – Two evenings, two authors, and two different ways of entrusting books with the task of recounting experiences, emotions, and lives. Monday 7th and Tuesday 8th September, At 20.00, the Municipal Villa of Capurso will host the summer edition of “The Talking Book – Summer Festival”, the review dedicated to meetings with authors promoted by the Municipality of Capurso.

Marina D'Alessio will open the festival on Monday, September 7th with the presentation of the book "The Greek Girl. Between Fear, Faith and Rebirth: My Journey into the Here and Now . "

A personal story that traverses fear and fragility to arrive at rebirth, awareness, and the strength of the present. Dr. Alfonso Ramunni will be in conversation with the author.

The evening will also have an important charitable purpose: 20% of the book's cover price will be donated to the AIRC Foundation , in support of cancer research.

The second appointment, on Tuesday 8 September , will instead see Gabriella Genisi as protagonist , who will meet the Capurso public by presenting her works “La specchia del diavolo” and “Come la rosa”.

An evening dedicated to the author's narrative and literary universe, who will be in conversation with Mariangela Giordano , accompanying the audience in discovering the stories, characters, and themes that run through her novels.

With the summer edition of Il Libro Parlante , the Villa Comunale once again transforms into a place of meeting and conversation, where the book does not simply remain on the page but becomes an opportunity to listen, discuss and share experiences.

Two different events, united by the desire to bring culture out of traditional venues and bring it to life in the city's spaces , in an open and participatory dimension.

The meetings will begin at 20.00 hours of Municipal Villa of Capurso.
