Jazz a Capurso It is synonymous with Multiculturalism, born on January 24, 2003 in the Church of Santa Lucia when Pasquale Bardaro with his vibrophone and Aldo Bucci with his trumpet, thanks to their notes jazz, managed to radically change and give a strong push to the musical panorama and to the musical events in Capurso which had by then become devoid of energy and novelty. From that moment on, artists from Puglia and elsewhere have enlivened the evenings of Capurso with jazz music and more. We remember Guy and the Specialists, Luca Medici, Radicanto, JSO, Larry Franco, Jass & Brass, Daniela D'Ercole, Guido Di Leone, Chiaroscuro, Marchiobossa, Mimmo Campanale, Mino Lacirignola, Kekko Fornarelli; but also Gegè Telesforo, Dario Deidda, Joy Garrison, Patrizia Conte, Mario Rosini, Patrick Fradet, Roberto Gatto, Danilo Rea, Pippo Matino, Gianluca Petrella, Javier Girotto, Peppe Servillo, Natalio Mangalavite, Rossana Casale, Tullio De Piscopo, Sarah J. Mayor Michele Laricchia himself, promoter of this musical change, wanted that Capurso two specific musical moments were scheduled: the Anniversary, that is, Multiculturita's birthday and the Summer Jazz Festival with the best of the Italian jazz scene performing in front of the Royal Basilica of Madonna del PozzoMulticulturita's goal is to give a voice to those who aren't heard, and to give a chance to those who don't find space in traditional music circles.
