Capurso returns to dress itself in lights and traditions: the program of events promoted by the Municipality is enriched with appointments designed to accompany citizens and visitors towards the Christmas and beyond. The symbolic places of the country, illuminated and animated by new atmospheres, will be the setting for a program that keeps alive the guiding spirit of each edition of the Christmas a Capurso: promote moments of meeting and sharing for the entire community.

This year too, we start with the warmth of the FanojeDecember 7th and 8th the ancient rite of the bonfire will light up the historic center and the area in front of the Royal Basilica of the Madonna del Pozzo, accompanied by folk music, taste and conviviality, to renew and consolidate the bond between ancient traditions and citizens. The fire ritual is accompanied by the opening of the Santa's Village, open to visitors until December 27 in the Villa Comunale: a world of fantasy dedicated to the little ones, with creative workshops, shows and the inevitable meetings with Santa Claus and his elves.

Also on December 7th, another special event will transform the heart of Capurso in a magical place: Enchanting Village – a competition open to all citizens, associations, and schools – that combines lights, art, and crafts in an evocative journey through nativity scenes, sounds, and flavors. The initiative will take place in the alleys of the historic center, where the displays must be ready by December 6th and will remain visible until Epiphany.
